DOST brings eHATID to MIMAROPA

MANILA, June 14 — ‘ The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) recently brought the eHATID, a health information support tablet, to MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan).

The eHATID (eHealth Tablet for Informed Decision-making) aims to help local government officials to make informed decisions concerning health in their localities.

The ceremonial turnover of tablets coincided with the 51st Regional Development Council Meeting in Marinduque. The turnover was also one of the highlights of DOST’s science roadshow, Science Nation Tour: Agham na Ramdam MIMAROPA leg.

Marinduque was the first in the region to fully adopt the project dubbed as eHATID LGU, which targets to deploy the tablet to 450 municipal and city LGUs by yeare…
