DOST EYES FREE Wi-Fi IN ALL PALAWAN PUBLIC HOSPITALS
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) plans to put up public Wi-Fi in all the government-run hospitals in Palawan including Puerto Princesa City.
Dr. Ma. Josefina Abilay, regional director of DOST-Region 4- B said that their agency believes that health care can be effective if there is access to the internet.
Abilay spoke before participants of the training and orientation at the Capitol recently.
She said the eHATID LGU project will be implemented by the Ateneo de Manila University and the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development with the help of Philhealth.
The project is a health information system support for local government units using Android- based Electronic Medical Record application.
The project will be completed before the year ends, Abilay said.
